QTIC NAIDOC Corporate Breakfast | 5 July

Join MBRIT at the QTIC's NAIDOC Corporate Breakfast

Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) thanks to the support and partnership of Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC) would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the QTIC NAIDOC Corporate Breakfast at the MBRC & MBRIT supported & funded table.

This event celebrates the invaluable contributions of First Nations people who have been instrumental in developing the First Nations tourism sector in Queensland. The theme of this year's celebration is 'For Our Elders', which emphasizes recognizing the elders and their significant role in the community.

We are pleased to offer a limited sponsorship opportunity to seven (7) tourism operators within the Moreton Bay region to attend the breakfast at our supported and funded table, thanks to the MBRC. This sponsorship offers a chance to showcase your commitment to supporting local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and recognizing the elders' contributions.

The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) NAIDOC Corporate Breakfast will be held on Wednesday 5 July 2023, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. The event will feature an outstanding lineup of speakers, and you will have an opportunity to show support for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.

If you wish to attend, please complete the expression of interest form by 5 pm on Friday 30 June 2023. Dress code for the event is business attire, and the breakfast will be followed by networking until 9:30 AM.

Join us in recognizing the First Nations community's contributions and celebrate their rich history and culture.

Please register your interest below and feel free to contact Nicole Gruver at [email protected] or 0422 406 036 for any questions or additional information.
